Neeleeswaram is a place in Ernakulam district of Kerala in India where i born. Its the best place for me in this world . It is on the way to the famous St. Thomas pilgrim centre of Malayatoor which is just 4 Km away from Neeleeswaram.
The name Neeleeswaram has been derived from two words – ‘Neeli’ and ‘Swaram’. "Neeli " is the name of a bird and "swaram" means 'voice' in the regional language malayalam. In ancient times, the place was a safe heaven for the blue birds called ‘Neeli’ and was known for the attractive voice of this bird.
Periyar - The Longest’ River of Kerala- is flowing through the south of the village which adds beauty and calmness to the village.
